The Crowther Audio Hotcake. A resounding shop favorite and for good reason! Hand-made in New Zealand by Paul Crowther, the Hotcake is a boost/overdrive pedal designed to give players a fat sounding distortion without taking away from or mangling your guitars natural tonal qualities that you love. The pedal greets you with an easy to use three knob control layout. You wanna get a clean boost? Bump the Level control. Want that sweet distortion we mentioned? Increasing the Drive will get you there. The Presence control rounds out our selection, giving you the option to add some mid-range punch to your tone.

Now the Hot Cake has been on the block for a bit so you may be asking which version this one here is. This is the updated version of the circuit, featuring a newer version of the "Bluesberry" setting dubbed "+Cream" and can be activated via a toggle switch as opposed to the older version with an internal switch. There's also an extended low frequency or "XLF" switch to beef things up! Two slight changes that make the already incredible Hot Cake pedal even better!
